Use SoftVani responsibly
SoftVani services are intended for legitimate software purchases, licensing, downloads, support, memberships, and professional software-development activities. Users must not misuse SoftVani systems or interfere with other users.
Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy establishes minimum standards for safe, lawful, and responsible use of SoftVani.
This Policy operates together with the SoftVani Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Software License Agreement, Refund Policy, and Digital Delivery & Shipping Policy.
Lawful use
You may use SoftVani only for lawful purposes and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Do not use SoftVani to commit, promote, facilitate, or conceal unlawful activity.
- Do not use SoftVani to infringe intellectual-property, privacy, contractual, or other legal rights.
- Do not use SoftVani to distribute malicious, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful material.
- Do not attempt to use SoftVani services in a jurisdiction where such use is prohibited by applicable law.
Accounts and access
- Use only accounts that you are authorized to access.
- Do not impersonate another person or organization.
- Do not share passwords or authentication credentials with unauthorized users.
- Do not attempt to bypass account verification, suspension, or access controls.
- Do not create accounts for fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive purposes.
- Keep account and contact information reasonably accurate and current.
Software use
SoftVani software must be used in accordance with the applicable Software License Agreement and product-specific terms.
- Do not redistribute SoftVani software without authorization.
- Do not sell, sublicense, rent, or transfer software licenses unless expressly permitted.
- Do not remove or alter proprietary, copyright, trademark, or licensing notices.
- Do not use unauthorized copies of SoftVani software.
- Do not use SoftVani software to violate applicable laws or third-party rights.
Licenses and activations
- Do not share license keys with unauthorized users.
- Do not bypass or manipulate activation limits.
- Do not forge, modify, reproduce, or generate unauthorized license credentials.
- Do not interfere with license validation or activation systems.
- Do not attempt to activate software on more devices than the applicable license permits.
- Do not use another customer's entitlement or license without authorization.
Security restrictions
Users must not attempt to compromise the confidentiality, integrity, security, or availability of SoftVani services.
- Do not attempt unauthorized access to SoftVani systems, databases, APIs, administrator areas, or customer accounts.
- Do not probe or scan systems for vulnerabilities without written authorization.
- Do not bypass authentication, authorization, rate limits, or other security controls.
- Do not introduce malware, ransomware, spyware, destructive code, or harmful files.
- Do not interfere with normal website, API, download, or licensing operations.
- Do not perform denial-of-service attacks or deliberately overload SoftVani infrastructure.
- Do not attempt to obtain passwords, private keys, tokens, secrets, or credentials belonging to SoftVani or other users.
Downloads and protected files
- Use protected download links only for authorized downloads.
- Do not share private download URLs or authorization tokens with unauthorized users.
- Do not attempt to discover or access private storage locations.
- Do not automate excessive downloads or deliberately consume unreasonable infrastructure resources.
- Do not modify or redistribute downloaded software in a way that violates the applicable license.
Content and communications
Messages submitted through support, contact, project, or other SoftVani communication systems must remain professional and lawful.
- Do not send threats, harassment, abusive content, or unlawful material.
- Do not submit spam or unsolicited bulk communications.
- Do not knowingly submit malicious links or harmful files.
- Do not submit another person's confidential information without authorization.
- Do not send complete payment-card details, passwords, private keys, or authentication secrets through normal support messages.
Custom projects
Customers using SoftVani custom software or website development services must provide lawful project requirements and have the necessary rights to materials supplied for the project.
- Do not request development intended primarily for unlawful activity.
- Do not provide copyrighted, confidential, or proprietary material without appropriate authorization.
- Do not provide stolen credentials, private keys, payment-card information, or unauthorized system access.
- Do not intentionally misrepresent project ownership, authorization, requirements, or payment status.
Orders and payments
- Do not use stolen or unauthorized payment methods.
- Do not submit fraudulent transactions or intentionally false billing information.
- Do not misuse chargeback or dispute systems.
- Do not attempt to manipulate product prices, totals, currencies, discounts, order status, or payment status.
- Do not attempt to obtain paid products by bypassing legitimate payment verification.
Website order records, customer actions, membership states, quotations, or stored totals do not independently prove that a payment has been received. Paid access may depend on trusted payment-provider verification.
Other prohibited abuse
- Scraping or harvesting information in a way that violates applicable law or SoftVani restrictions.
- Using automated systems to abuse registrations, logins, downloads, licenses, support, or other services.
- Circumventing technical limits designed to protect SoftVani infrastructure or users.
- Attempting to conceal malicious activity through false accounts, identities, or transaction information.
- Using SoftVani branding or content to falsely imply endorsement, partnership, or authorization.
- Encouraging or assisting another person to violate this Policy.
Enforcement
If SoftVani reasonably believes that this Policy has been violated, we may take proportionate action depending on the nature and severity of the activity.
- Issue a warning or request corrective action.
- Restrict access to specific features.
- Suspend an account, entitlement, license, activation, or download access.
- Terminate access where permitted by applicable agreements and law.
- Preserve relevant records for security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or legal purposes.
- Report unlawful activity to appropriate authorities where legally required or reasonably necessary.
Reporting misuse
If you discover suspected abuse, unauthorized access, license misuse, fraudulent activity, or a security concern involving SoftVani, please report it through our official contact or support channels.
Provide enough information for us to understand the issue, but do not send passwords, private keys, authentication secrets, or complete payment-card information.
Changes to this Policy
SoftVani may update this Acceptable Use Policy when our services, software, licensing systems, security requirements, business practices, or legal obligations change.
The latest version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
